To better understand the priorities of healthcare organizations when adopting new technologies, Becker’s Healthcare and NextGen Healthcare surveyed 158 healthcare leaders from ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and specialty care practices. Staffing remains a major issue and a big driver for technology investments
Over half (64%) of respondents said their organization is understaffed and they are having difficulty filling open positions. Another major issue is understaffing for budgetary reasons (46%).
